The ZIEHM VISION FD enables soft tissue imaging and skeletal imaging at the same time, thanks to its large dynamic range. It is used in a wide range of applications in traumatology, neurosurgery, cardiology, orthopedics and vascular surgery providing excellent quality and accuracy. The ZIEHM VISION FD system is modern, safe and has a “C-ARM” type arm to hold the flat-panel detector and the x-ray tube. On the same wheeled set is the console for operating and adjusting the machine’s operating parameters, in the form of a TFT screen with touch buttons (TFT VISION CENTER). In the basic composition, a wheeled monitor cart is available which also has a TFT screen with touch buttons and two flat screen monitors.

• 20kHz high frequency generator, with a maximum voltage of 110KV and a maximum intensity of 20mA.
• Fluoroscopy: 40-110 kV, 20 mA
• Pulsed Fluoroscopy: 40-110 kV, 1.5-20 mA, 24 ms pulse width
• X-ray tube with small focus 0.6mm.
• Anode heat capacity 48 kHU/34Kj and casing heat capacity 5 million HU.
• Iris diaphragm diameter 50-198 mm
• It has a usable space between the digital detector and the tube of 89.5cm. The depth of the C-arm is 68cm. It also has a large distance between focus and detector equal to 111cm and a range of only 80cm.
• It has an orbital movement (ORBITAL) of 135 degrees in total (-90/+45^o).
• The weight of the C-ARM is small equal to 280 kg ensuring its easy transport while the Monitor cart weighs only 160 kg.
