Richard Wolf presents the latest innovation in the area of endoscopic lighting to meet the highest performance requirements.
The ENDOLIGHT LED high-power light source guarantees a high level of investment security through the long service of more than 30,000 hours for the LED. The cycles for changing the light source have been significantly extended compared with Xenon lamps.
ENDOLIGHT LED also has the following features:
- High light power. The latest generation LED 1.1, LED 1.2 can replace a 180 watt xenon light source and LED 2.1, LED 2.2 can replace a 300watt xenon light source and this means it can be used for all endoscopic interventions.
- The light loss is significantly lower over the service life than other illuminants. The light intensity remains constant.
- Extremely low-noise ventilation concept. A calmer atmosphere in the operating room enhances the ability of the surgical personnel to concentrate.
- The low volume of air used in the efficient ventilation system provides hygienic benefits.
- Very homogeneous illumination of the endoscopic operating field. No decline in brightness in the peripheral area and no “black spot” in the center.
- Very stable color temperature (approx. 6500 kelvin) over the entire life cycle of the LED.
- Eco concept. The level of efficiency is significantly increased compared with xenon light sources and the energy consumed is reduced as a result.
- Electronic brightness control. The electronic system responds significantly faster than the aperture mechanism of xenon light sources.
- New rotatable light cable connector for direct connection of light cables from Richard WOLF, Olympus, Storz or ACMI without adapter including a new safety cover to avoid scattering light. (ENDOLIGHT LED 1.2, 2.2)
