Erbium:YAG laser: the best option for the therapy of snoring

The ROMEO® treatment strengthens the structure of the soft palate and the uvula. The result is achieved by using fractional laser therapy, which causes microscopic damage to the mucosal membrane. As a result, the soft palate is tightened and stabilized while breathing. More than 50 % of patients and their partners report extraordinary reduction in snoring.

Newly designed, single use handpiece:

The specially designed ROMEO® handpiece, consisting of an optic adapter and a cover, allows for an easy insertion and for a very intuitive use and handling. The ROMEO® cover is delivered in single, sterile packages and is intended for single use only, guaranteeing you the maximum hygiene.

MicroSpot optic for gentle and more effective treatments:

The ROMEO® handpiece features a patended MicroSpot optic with a squared spot of 5 x 5 mm. This optic allows the selective treatment of only “fractions” of the tissue in the form of a grid, made possible by splitting the laser beam into 169 partial rays. This triggers skin renewal and collagen formation with rapid wound healing, which is supported by the untreated skin and therefore involves a very low risk of side effects.

MicroSpot handpiece with adjustable cover rate:

The MicroSpot handpiece features a special microlens array with a 13 x 13 mm spot (169 MicroSpots) and is used for fractional skin ablation treatments, such as fractional skin rejuvenation. This optic allows the selective treatment of only “fractions” of the tissue in the form of a grid. This is made possible by splitting the laser beam into several hundred partial rays. This triggers skin renewal and collagen formation with rapid wound healing, which is supported by the untreated skin and therefore involves a very low risk of side effects.

Thanks to an exclusive microlens array, the MicroSpot technology provides a unique level of precision. The cover rate can be set directly on the handpiece by rotating the ring. This increases flexibility and enables even better treatment results in fractional laser therapy.
